Don't Let Us Get Sick - Acoustic Warren Zevon Cover

I first heard this song as a cover version on some show I was watching. I looked up the song and was not really surprised to find that Warren Zevon was the original composer. To me the song is very sweet, but with a hard edge underneath. It’s typical of Zevon’s amazing songwriting.

It’s a song that I turned to when my mom got sick, and it’s a song I think about whenever someone I know loses someone they love. I decided to make this cover version. This was filmed / recorded during one of those times of loss.
